Patients with insurance coverage should be prepared to pay deductibles and co-insurance amounts in accordance with their policies. If a patient does not have insurance or if coverage is limited, the patient may be asked to make a cash deposit at the time of admission.

Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express cards are accepted. Your hospital bill will include all of the hospital charges for treatment and services rendered to you. The bill will not include physician charges involved in your care such as: your personal physician, surgeon, pathologist, radiologist, emergency physician or any other consulting physician. These physicians will bill you separately for their services.

Avoyelles Hospital will submit your claim to your insurance company for payment and will do everything possible to expedite your claim.
