2011 Pink October Cancer Crusaders Program

For the past 16 years Avoyelles Hospital has hosted Pink October, a fundraiser to bring awareness of breast cancer and the importance of early detection to the women of Avoyelles Parish and surrounding areas.  Each year the program grows and continues to offer an evening of exceptional entertainment. Pink October, Ladies’ Night Out is designed to blend women’s health issues with information, fun, entertainment, lots of door prizes! It will be held at the Mari Center, Paragon Casino & Resort on Thursday, October 6th.  Doors open at 4:00 pm with vendor booths, shopping, and light refreshments.  This year’s program will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will also include a guest speaker, a fashion show, entertainment, music, raffles and door prizes.  Tickets go on sale September 6th at the front desk of Avoyelles Hospital.  Tickets are $15.00 each.  Must be 14 years of age or older to attend event.  For more information please call Avoyelles Hospital at 318-253-8611.
